Our Story
We were young, ambitious app developers, and we loved going to food trucks on our lunch breaks. However, we were sick of waiting in lines and thought it would be cool to build an app that solves this. Edesia was born! Starting as a fun project, we entered Edesia into several hackathons and found much success.
Seeing the excitement about our app, we started taking it seriously and reached out to food trucks to join our app. We Began with placements during Covid19 and brought food trucks to schools and neighborhoods. Hungry to move to the next level, we threw our first Food Trucks n Chill event. We partnered with local food trucks and Nashville indie filmmakers to create an unforgettable drive-in movie experience. Oh, and we sold out!
Driving forward, we wanted to replicate the success of food trucks n chill, so we looked at new ways to enhance our app. Months after developing, growing our team, and acquiring funding, we're successfully launching our food truck fleet in West and Middle Tennessee.
Our Mission
Edesia is where food trucks meet technology. We utilize technology to seamlessly connect food truck owners with customers, by connecting communities with quality cuisine. We understand the difficulties of operating a food truck and the struggles of people finding and quickly ordering from them. Edesia is a platform that will make it easy for our vendors to make delicious cuisines for their happy customers.
