Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign up we collect your email address, a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and your phone number. If you connect a Google account, we request read access to your Gmail so the Service can classify and extract event details from your messages.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account, operate the catering inbox, classify and summarize emails, draft replies for your approval, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.

Edesia Go mobile apps

Edesia Go uses your name, email address and account identifier to sign you in and connect you to your workspace. We store inventory, recipes, schedules, tasks, timesheets, team messages and other information you choose to save. Device identifiers and notification tokens support account security and notifications. We do not use this information to track you across other companies’ apps for advertising.

Optional AI scans, imports and assistant requests send the content you select, including photos, receipts, files, text, conversation history and relevant kitchen records, to Google Gemini through Edesia’s servers. Content may contain personal information. The mobile apps ask for permission before using these features. You can withdraw permission under Team → Privacy & AI to stop future AI requests on that device. This does not recall requests already sent or delete previously saved records. Review AI results before saving and remove information you do not want to share.

Firebase and Google sign-in services may collect phone numbers, approximate location, device and account identifiers, usage information and technical diagnostics for authentication, security, app operation and service analytics. The Android app includes Firebase Analytics. Camera and AR features can process images of your surroundings to identify inventory; selected images and inventory records may be transmitted when you choose to use those features.

You can start account deletion in Edesia Go under Team → Delete account, including when you do not have a paid subscription. Deletion removes your login, personal account records and stored uploads. Deleting a workspace owner also removes the workspace’s records and detaches its teammates; their individual accounts remain. If you are a teammate, your employer may retain shared records, such as timesheets; contact the workspace owner about those records. We retain a minimal deletion marker to prevent delayed billing events from recreating deleted accounts. Payment providers may retain transaction records for their legal obligations. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately in Apple’s subscription settings.

You can also request account deletion on our website without installing the app.

Product information and photos may come from Open Food Facts and its contributors. Its database is available under the Open Database License, individual database contents under the Database Contents License, and product photos under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. These source licenses continue to apply to that content. Product packaging may carry separate third-party rights.

3. SMS / text messaging

By texting one of our business phone numbers, or by giving us your mobile number when you ask us about catering, you agree to receive text messages from us in reply to your inquiry. These messages are sent by our AI assistant on our behalf and relate only to your request: answering questions, sending pricing and quotes, confirming event details, and following up about your booking. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.

Message frequency varies with your conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to reach us by phone or email.

4. Email and AI processing

Email content you connect is processed to detect catering inquiries and extract structured details. Content may be sent to AI model providers solely to generate classifications and draft replies. We do not use your email content to train third-party models.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as authentication, hosting, and AI model providers), under agreements that limit their use of your data, or when required by law.

6. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

You can disconnect your Google account, update your contact details, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Revoking Gmail access stops further email processing.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
